How you can help our Hamilton kids

Help our kids

There are lots of different ways you can help our kids in the Waikato. You can Volunteer, donate, leave a gift or help through workplace giving.

The rewards of volunteering and becoming a Trustee of Life Education are numerous!
You'll gain valuable life and business experience, be involved in improving the lives of New Zealand children and make lifelong friendships.
Our Trustees are from all different backgrounds and you don’t need any specific experience to become a Trustee.

Leave a legacy to Life Education that will continue to make a difference long after your lifetime.

Whether you are drafting your first Will, or are revising your current Will, including a bequest to Life Education is easier than you think.
Firstly, speak to your family about your plans so they understand why you’re choosing to remember Life Education in your Will.
Seek professional advice and speak to your lawyer about your options. This could include a specific gift, a residual gift or a codicil.
A well-constructed Will can maximise the value of your estate. For example, a charitable bequest can reduce the final tax burden of your estate by as much as 100% of your income in the year of demise and the previous year.

To organise your bequest or if you have any questions please contact Charnay hamilton@lifeedtrust.org.nz or on 021 1129 720.

Payroll giving is an incredibly easy way to support Life Education's work in communities around New Zealand.

You determine an amount you are comfortable donating each pay day, which is then automatically deducted at source.
Donating in this way means your tax refund (33 cents in every dollar) can be credited back to you immediately.
It’s a very simple way of making sure children get the help they need to fulfil their potential. You can increase, decrease or suspend your donation at any time.

"The topics are relevant to the children and enhance our health programme considerably.
Teachers are able to choose from a list of topics to help them to find ones that are particularly helpful for their class. Of course the programme wouldn’t work without high calibre, high energy teachers - and these we have had over the years.
The Life Education truck visits are an important part of our school Health programme and the unique way in which topics are presented, compliments and supports our Health programme.
Many of our children have been helped by these visits and for some, it gets them talking about issues.
I would recommend this service to other schools and also to sponsors.
